A Love Letter to God #2

Oh, Sovereign Lord! How You Love me, I can barely even contain it! My heart feels like it’s about to burst at the copious amounts of Your tender Love and Adoration that You pour out on me. Teaching me to see myself as You See me: not as who I think I am, but as who You have made me to be. I marvel at Your Choice to See me as Your innocent child, despite my life being the one of a sinner’s. What Grace, what Mercy! No language on earth or in all the heavens could sufficiently describe all the details and extent of Your Greatness, oh Lord.

How You lavish Your Lovingkindness on me, it takes my breath away. Any and all of my displays of affection and affirmations of love that I offer to You, You reciprocate a hundredfold. Who am I, a mere human, to You that You would honor me so? I deserve nothing, yet You give me everything; all of Yourself and more. The blessings You shower me with are far too numerous to ever count. Even all the stars in the sky pale in comparison to the magnitude of Your Glory that You share with me.

I could fill thousands of pages, even books with praises for You, oh God, and it would still be far from adequate. I will never be able to sufficiently express my thankfulness towards You for Who You Are, and Who You Are to me. Saying that You Are my Everything is yet a grave understatement. Outside of You, I do not exist. I am but an empty shell, brought to life by Your Breath, by You filling me with Yourself.

I adore You, Adonai. You Truly Are my Treasure forever.

I am forever Yours, Lord.

And You promise to be forever mine.
